Study visit to Vigamus (Video Game Museum) Rome

One of the aims of the project CoGame is study and research the real situation of video games, for that, during the third meeting in Rome we visited the fantastic Vigamus (Video Game Museum).

It is an incredible space that focuses a lot on ethnographic research videogame console but you have a small space for innovation and look to the future.

This visit to Rome has given much information you want to share with you all.

Besides being able to see firsthand that almost consoles are not, they also have a whole section dedicated to the myths of Atari, those legends that were buried in the desert and after that time they were in the hands of fans treasure seekers.

One thing that stands out in Vigamus is its interactive part. Filled rooms connected with video consoles, arcade machines play on every corner, a large space to make presentations. It also has an obsession Vigamus dissemination and teaching around the world of videogame publishing books dealing with various subjects, from history to philosophy videogame consoles.
